The Faultable Transformers consists of three single-phase power transformers installed in a full-height EMS
module. Each transformer has multiple primary and secondary windings. Fault taps are wired to switches or
banana jacks on the front panel for insertion of winding-to-earth5 and winding-to-winding faults via current
limiting resistors. A current sensor is provided to observe the waveform of the primary current on transformer
magnetizing inrush.
