Cool a gel to 4°C (32°F), even with 40 watts of power applied to the gel. Or carry out enzyme/substrate reactions or immunoreactions requiring incubations at 37°C (98°F) directly on the unit. A digital readout displays the actual or set temperature to the nearest 1°C (1.8°F).
