W L Gore & Associates Gore-Shield Staccato Plus II Installation System

The GORE-SHIELD® STACCATO PLUS II™ installation system rapidly and accurately installs GORE-SHIELD EMI gaskets and is designed for use in medium-volume production of shielding components for use in hand-held portable devices such as cellular telephones, wireless local area networks and wireless PCMCIAs. The installation system offers a module design that can be easily adapted from one design to another through two simple pieces of custom tooling. Designed for low maintenance operation, long life and maximum throughput, the system is well suited for shops that require three to four cycles per minute but do not have the floor space or budget for larger, more expensive solutions.
