Bio-Rad's HydroTech Vacuum Pump is designed for use with the Model 583 Gel Dryer or any other convectional slab gel dryer. It uses water, not vacuum pump oil, so it is easy to use, environmentally friendly, and practically maintenance free. All parts are corrosion resistant, for long life and trouble free operation.

  • no oil or expensive oil-related maintenance required
  • continuous cooling that ensures steady vacuum
  • no expensive diaphragms to replace every other year
