Product Description
The JDS Uniphase RA Series 1xN fiberoptic switch is a single-mode latching switch component for network applications, including network monitoring and optical crossconnects. This component uses fewer switching mechanisms than other 1xN designs.
Collimated beam optics and specially designed prisms yield excellent optical performance. Housed in a hermetic package, the RA Series switch is designed to exceed GR-1221 and meets the requirements of the most demanding central office conditions. The switch is directly mounted on printed circuit boards (PCBs) and comes equipped with status contacts that allow an electrical readout of the switch position.
