Product Description
The Wavetek 146 Multifunction Generator features both a main generator and an independent modulation generator in one instrument. The sine, square, triangle and ramp waveforms of the modulation generator can be used to control the frequency and amplitude of the main generator.
- Three operational modes: continuous triggered and gated.
Main Generator
- Waveforms: sine square triangle and DC selectable plus sync
- Frequency range: 0.0005 Hz...10 MHz
- Main output: 20 V p-p open circuit (10 V p-p into 50 Ohm)
- DC Offset: ± 10 VDC (± 5 VDC into 50 Ohm)
Squarewave rise and fall time: better than 50 ns
VCG (voltage controlled generator) internal AM and FM VCA (voltage controlled amplitude) symmetry control
Auxiliary Generator
- Waveforms: sine square triangle and ramp
- Frequency range sine square triangle: 0 04 Hz...100 kHz
- Frequency range sawtooth (ramp): 0 004 Hz...10 kHz
- Output: fixed 5 V p-p into open circuit (2 5 V p-p into 50 Ohm)
