The SWR Meter can be used to perform the following:
Microwave power and attenuation measurements
Microwave frequency measurements and
Standing wave ratio (SWR) measurements.
The SWR Meter essentially consists of a narrow-band amplifier tuned to a frequency of approximately1 kHz, and an indicator.
The microwave signals to be measured with the SWR Meter must be amplitude modulated by a 1 kHz square wave. This square wave is produced by the Gunn Oscillator Power Supply.
