The 7104 is a 1 GHz realtime mainframe oscilloscope with outstanding writing speed which means excellent single-shot capability, with trace brightness about one thousand times that of conventional oscilloscopes.  Any single-shot signal within the 1GHz bandwidth can be seen directly on the CRT in average room light.
