The LS 3070 has a rechargeable NiCad battery pack in the handle of the scanner. This provides all power to the
scanner during normal operation. It provides 360 mA hours, which accommodates 12,000 1/2 second scans.
When fully depleted, the battery pack can be recharged on the Universal Four-Slot Charger/Recharger within 8 hours. However,the battery pack in the LS 3070 inserted into the RL 470 base / charger unit can be fully charged within 2 hours.
