            The Series 100 Embedded Active Force Controller combined with PushCorp Active Force Control Tools creates an integrated force control system unsurpassed by anything else available today. Advanced micro-computer technology puts you in control with numerous interface options.  All of this combines to make it incredibly easy to integrate super-accurate force control capabilities into your processing environment.
            The Series 100 Embedded model has multiple hardware interfaces including RS-232 serial, industry standard 24 VDC digital, ±10 VDC analog interfaces.  These interfaces allow the Series 100 Embedded controller to be remotely configured and operated by a host PLC, robot controller, or personal computer. (**Note host PLC, robot controller & personal controllers are NOT included in the sale**)

            The embedded model FCU100-3 is designed to operate with a robot controller, remote host computer or PLC.  The FCU100-3 is configured through a RS-232 serial port.  Once configured, the controller can be operated via analog or digital interfaces, or through the RS-232 serial port using simple ASCII commands.  These commands can originate from any serial port equipped PC or robot controller.
             In addition to the serial interface, the FCU100-3 also provides ±10 VDC analog and 24 VDC digital I/O.  These standard industrial interfaces allow the FCU100-3 to directly interface to most any PLC or robot controller.  A common approach is to use AFD Windows to assist with initial configuration and then use the analog and/or digital interfaces for the control interface during processing.
            The embedded FCU100-3 is packaged in a rugged, compact enclosure so that the control unit may be mounted almost anywhere.  Removable electrical connectors make servicing the FCU100-3 a snap.
