The HP 4142B is a high performance DC Parametric measurement instrument with plug-in unit architecture designed for:
- Wide Measurement Range (10A, 1000V)
- High Resolution (20fA, 4 uV)
- High Speed (Force I or V: 4 ms, Measure I or V: 4ms)
- High Accuracy (V:0.05%, I: 0.2%)
The plug-in units may be operated individually or in synchronized modes to perform ten different types of measurements: Spot, Staircase sweep, 1 channel pulsed spot, Pulsed sweep, Staircase sweep with pulse bias, Analog search, 2 channel pulsed spot, Pulsed sweep with pulse bias, Quasi-pulse, High speed spot.
