EXFO-50 Series FOT-50 Fiberoptic Power Meter

The power meter function of the FOT-50 features: high sensitivity and 0.01 dB resolution; choice of measuring in dBm, dB or Watts; 20 calibrated wavelengths; audio transducer and analog output.

The FOT-50 can also incorporate an optional built in LED light source which features fast stabilization and excellent stability Wavelengths available are 850, 1300 or 1550 nm for singlemode or multimode fibers. A unit can be retrofitted with a source if required.

The FOT-50 is powered by the built in rechargeable NiCad battery pack, the supplied AC battery charger or an external DC voltage input (9 to 15 VDC supply at 500 mA). It has been designed to suffer field abuse, severe changes in temperature and humidity.
