    Product Description

    The Model 6610 Network Probe is a handheld tester designed to diagnose problems occuring in data communications networks and computers under varieed protocols, code sets, and environment .  The following subsections describe the instruments, features and options of the Network Probe.

    • Back-lit LCD
    • Lithium Bvattery memory back-up
    • Full ascii keyboard for entering hex, alphnumeric, and control characters.
    • Data Displayed in ASCII, EBCDIC,EBCD, 6BIT Transcode, IPARS, or hexadecimal during capture or post proccessing .
    • Multiple triggers to trap error conditions, character strings, timers, coun ters, and lead changes
    • ]User selected counters and timers for measuring time intervals between triggers and counting events.
    • Up to 64K bytes of RAM with dynamic capture buffer size specification from 4K to 64K bytes
    • Maximum internally generated baud rates up to 64K bits per sec.
    • BSC to 19,200 bits per second, half duplex
    • Async to 19.2K bits per second, full duplex
    • SNA / X.25 to 56K bits per sec, half duplex
    • SDLC / HDLC tp 19.2K bits per sec, full duplex
    • NRZI to 19.2K bits per sec , full duplex with recovered clock.
