The SATO M-8485Se Bar Code Printer is the first plug and play" printer capable of full high speed bi-directional communications. This direct thermal transfer printer has a 203 DPI (8 dots/mm) resolution and prints at 12 inches per second. The M-8485Se comes standard with 16 MByte memory and a 32-bit RISC/133Mhz processor. The bi-directional interfaces include a high speed IEEE1284 parallel (ECP) Ethernet port (10/100BaseT) RS232 (57.6Kbps) and Universal Serial Bus (USB). This printer was designed for reliable operation in a production environment."
