The RF-745-02 Transmitter is a high-performance, automatically tuned transmitter, incorporating the RF-1310 microprocessor-controlled exciter.  Complete coverage of the 2-30 MHz frequency ranges is provided in 10 Hz increments.  This unit emphasizes speed and accuracy.  Power output may be reduced in 1 dB steps to 50 dB.  Harmonics are suppressed to greater than 83 dB.  Fully automatic tuning with manual back up permits frequency changes in less than 10 seconds (typically 4 seconds).  During transmission, continuous surveillance of the load senses changes in load characteristics greater than 10% and initiates automatic retuning in the amount required.  It is compatible with broadband antennas.  It tunes and will operate with up to 4:1 VSWR.  Complete remote control capability is provided by the RF-1312 module in the exciter.  The RF-7405 Remote Control is capable of accepting asynchronous serial data and functions include frequency, mode, keying, power output level, clipper on/off and BITE.
