ADAX ACT-CPCI Advanced Channelised Transport board on Compact PCI

Running on the fast 133Mbit/s cPCI bus architecture, the dual-port controller board joins the APC and APC7 protocol controllers in Adax's family of wide area communications products. It features two ports per card, and each port supports up to 32 channels. 1024 virtual ports can also be supported via a single 16slot cPCI backplane.

This board works on Intel, Sun, IBM RS/6000 or HP servers and has front and rear connections. It also supports the H.110 telecoms bus standard which simplifies back panel wiring.

ACT-cPCI Boards can mix voice and ATM along with APC7 (SS7) cards in the same box and also have the more rugged, serviceable, and hot-swappable CompactPCI bus architecture for greater reliability
