Chatillon TCD-1000 / TCD 1000 / TCD1000 Motorized Test Stand

The TCD-1000 motorized test stand with full digital control provides versatility over a wide range of product testing up to 1000 pound.  When equipped with a Chatillon DFGS-R-1000 digital gauge it becomes a self-contained test system. The standard bi-directional RS232 interface permits peripheral control of all keypad functions of the DFGS-R-1000 digital gauge.  Both force and deflection data may be transmitted or requested through the test stand interface.  Analog outputs are also provided for graphing.

A broad specimen test width area and rugged all-metal construction enhance the TCD-1000's operating capabilities.  The dual ball screw drive with ensures precise linear motion and alignment of the ram mechanism.  Dynamic braking provides positive control of the motor.

The TCD-1000 keypad functions allow the operator to program the test speed, high and low digital deflection set points and cycling between the deflection set points. "Min speed" and "max speed" functions are also incorporated to facilitate test set up.  Tests may also be performed without programmed values utilizing the basic "up", "down" and "stop" functions.  Manually adjustable travel limits are standard to provide safety limits or to set travel limits in tests which do not require the precision of a digital set point.

Two 1/2" high LCD's display the speed and deflection values along with status indicators of the programmed functions  and units of measurement (inches or millimeters).  These indicators provide a quick visual reference of the test status during operation.  When Chatillon DFGS-R-1000 digital force gauge is used and interfaced with the stand electronics via the proper cable, the word "gauge" is displayed to indicate this connection.

When using a Chatillon DFGS-R digital force gauge as the force indicator, the gauge's force set points may be programmed to signal the test stand motor to stop or cycle between the set points.  This provides even further automation in product testing.
