This Converter is an electronic instrument that generates repeating electronic signals.

It contains an electronic oscillator, a circuit that is capable of creating a repetitive waveform frequencies from 50.01MHz to 61MHz on the 8640 or 8654 series generator are down converted to the 10KHz to 11MHz range respectively, while the output level and modulation functions remain calibrated.

A straight through selection feature allows the input to be passed unconverted through the Down Converter with <1dB loss.
