This 803 was made by Dynamic. Hardy purchased Dynamic and changed the model from DI- to HI-, but all else remains the same.
Top-of-the-line portable shaker for transducer / accelerometer vibration, verification and calibration.
The HI 803 Shaker has the most operational functionality of any Portable Shaker on the Market. Both vibration frequency and amplitude can be varied over a wide range, and the output from the sensor can be plugged into the Shaker for Sensor Check and Calibration.
In a manual mode, the vibration test level and the test frequency can be set from 10 Hz to 10,000 Hz. In a sensitivity mode, the DI 803 not only vibrates the transducer being tested, but also measures its output and calculates its output sensitivity (mV/unit of motion).
A built-in self-test program checks for accuracy of all calculations.

The EPOCH 2002 incorporates a 5 inch diagonally measured TV formatted CRT.
The sealed touch-panel keyboard controls all instrument functions and settings, replacing tightly packed switches.
All of the EPOCH's functions and settings are under precise microprocessor control
with absolute calibration in either English or metric engineering units.
