The PS-18 provides a signal source for measurements on balanced and coaxial FDM communication systems with upi to 2600 channels. The Wavetek 146 Multifunction Generator features both a main generator and an independent modulation generator in one instrument. The sine, square, triangle and ramp waveforms of the modulation generator can be used to control the frequency and amplitude of the main generator.
