Transmitter Interferometer Optical Bed: The optical system contains the neodymium-doped, yttrium-aluminum-garnet (YAG) laser rods, the Pockels cel electro-optical Q-switch and the optical elements required to form the interferometer. Retro prism P1 and P2 in conjunction with the laser oscillator rod, and polarizer from the resonator or oscillator section of the laser.
