The senTorr Gauge Controller can be programmed from the front panel for many functions. The command structure provides the user with the ability, among other things, to operate non-Varian glass gauge tubes, measure desired gas load partial pressures, and automatically turn ion gauges on or off. Additionally, users can select measurement units of either torr or mbar, baud rate, sensitivity, and emission current. The senTorr Gauge Controller has a standby mode that shuts off power to all components except the main processor, which conserves energy but permits faster start-up times.
