This mysterious box appears to be an RF Exciter with U/LSB, ISB as well as A1, A2H, F1, A3A, A3H, and A3J AM modes. It also features Simplex and Duplex operation and accepts external frequency standards. There are rear connectors for Key and Audio inputs.

The Delta Electronics Model SLS-4 Strip Line Switch is a manually or remotely controlled 50 Ohm switch matrix for connecting any of a number of transmitters to any of a number of antennas. The SLS-4 is ideally suited for use with 10 kW average power transmitters and with 3:1 maximum VSWR antennas. The switch design provides a compact system with excellent power rating, low insertion VSWR, low insertion loss, and high isolation characteristics.

The design of the switch makes it inherently impossible to connect more than one transmitter to one antenna or to connect one transmitter to more than one antenna. An interlock circuit that exactly duplicates the RF circuit operates to remove power from the RF circuit prior to switching. At the completion of the switching sequence, the interlock circuit is rerouted and reconnected to protect the new RF circuit. An indicator circuit provides a dry contact closure for each transmitter to antenna connection for remote indication of the switch status.

This is a truly rare professional communications receiver designed and built by Racal Communications. The RA 6793A-6 receiver covers 500Hz - 30MHz and features scanning of up to 100 pre-programmed memory channels, 3 speed tuning rate with 1Hz tuning resolution. It features a "real" (not membrane) keypad for data entry, scan, carrier operated relay, variable AGC, plus many other features including extensive built-in self test, and a large clear liquid crystal alpha-numeric display.

This particular variant of the RA 6793A the (-6) is designed as a super high reliability hf SSB/ISB mil-spec receiver with conformal coated boards inside to inhibit corrosion. The antenna input connector and external frequency standard inputs are TNC type. This radio has the ISB option installed. Battery looks great, displays are sharp and crisp and everything is working perfectly. I've included some internal photos to give you an idea of how it really looks inside. It's very very nice to say the least.

The Sony CRF-V21 Visual World Band Radio is the first portable to offer integrated facsimile (FAX) and radioteletype (RTTY) shortwave reception. You can print RTTY and FAX transmissions directly with the built-in thermal printer (paper NOT included). Supported RTTY modes include Baudot at 60, 66, 75 and 100 WPM and ASCII at 110, 200, 300 and 600 bps. FAX shortwave speeds include 60, 90 120 and 240 rpm.

Frequency coverage is 9 kHz to 30 MHz for all longwave, medium wave and shortwave frequencies. Plus FM coverage from 76 to 88 MHz and NOAA satellite channels 137.62/141.21 MHz.
